Caitlyn Caleah O’Connell is a writer living in Oakland. Her roots run deep in the Gold Rush Country of California and in the shtetls of the Pale of Settlement. Her heart races for farmers’ market fruit, black and white movies, found poems, Oakland dive bars and vintage dresses. She is interested in Bay Area queer and Jewish histories, health care as a right not a privilege and any excuse to use the word ‘palimpsest.’ Sometimes she writes about things here.
